Grand Island Residents, join the movement to take back your Town!

The Pirate has gotten several calls from registered Republicans saying they are receiving calls from the old Republican Committee members that a Democratic takeover is in progress.  This is not true.  These calls are from our corrupt Politicians doing everything they can to hold on to the control they have over Grand Island.

Join our movement, we are just like the Trump movement sweeping the country.  We are taking back our Town Government.

If you are a registered Republican, please  go to your polling place and vote for these Candidates.  It will forever change Grand Island Politics.  For 20 years a few individuals controlled the Republican Party on Grand Island.  They give jobs and contracts to their family members and friends.  Is this the type of government you want?  You can help change that forever.  Help us take back our Town.  Vote for these candidates in your District.

I have friends who tried to open a business on the island. And they said the town made it impossible to do it here. Then we have all the stories about, the little nursery on Ransom they put out of business. The GI Plaza that they make impossible to rent because of the building department. All these stories you hear, they are all true.

Well the news is that once again corruption prevails. It is very sad, we love our town and have to worry about corrupt and unethical people who will stop at nothing to continue to have this town in their grip for their own personal gain. I hope in the future more people start to realize how important change is. I was thinking about opening a business here on the island but I will be moving on to greener pastures. I have heard too many horror stories of trying to work with these people and get things approved….if it’s not helping them it’s not happening. Sad but life goes on. Thank you to everyone who came out to vote on September 13th, hopefully this group of people that has tried to make a change for the better will continue the fight, I have been told it’s not over!!
