According to Doug Learman and the Code Enforcement Department, boat storage requires an approved Site Plan showing Boat Storage.  Doug, is there a “VIOLATION” here?  Or do you just pick and chose who you enforce the laws of the Town of Grand Island on?

This story was precipitated because of the local Race for Town of Grand Island Highway Superintendent this year.  Currently, the Pirate has been informed that Dan Drexilius, a Republican has received the Conservative endorsement for Highway Superintendent and Richard Crawford, a Republican has received the Republican endorsement.

Last night the Democrats held their interviews for Highway Superintendent and the Pirate was informed three (3) candidates were interviewed for endorsement.  Those candidates are James Sedita, an Independent, Dan Drexilius a Republican and Richard Crawford a Republican.

This years race is going to be very interesting.
