Kim DotCom Releases Statement About Seth Rich – AKA Panda
Read it below!
I KNOW THAT SETH RICH WAS INVOLVED IN THE DNC LEAK.
I know this because in late 2014 a person contacted me about helping me to start a branch of the Internet Party in the United States. He called himself Panda. I now know that Panda was Seth Rich.
Panda advised me that he was working on voter analytics tools and other technologies that the Internet Party may find helpful.
I communicated with Panda on a number of topics including corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics.“He wanted to change that from the inside.”
I was referring to what I knew when I did an interview with Bloomberg in New Zealand in May 2015. In that interview I hinted that Julian Assange and Wikileaks would release information about Hillary Clinton in the upcoming election.
The Rich family has reached out to me to ask that I be sensitive to their loss in my public comments. That request is entirely reasonable.
I have consulted with my lawyers. I accept that my full statement should be provided to the authorities and I am prepared to do that so that there can be a full investigation. My lawyers will speak with the authorities regarding the proper process.
If my evidence is required to be given in the United States I would be prepared to do so if appropriate arrangements are made. I would need a guarantee from Special Counsel Mueller, on behalf of the United States, of safe passage from New Zealand to the United States and back. In the coming days we will be communicating with the appropriate authorities to make the necessary arrangements. In the meantime, I will make no further comment.

How are Kim Dotcom, Fox News host Sean Hannity and a murdered political staffer connected?
uckland-based internet mogul Kim Dotcom has become involved in a political conspiracy theory lighting up right-wing American talk shows.
The controversial Megaupload-founder has inserted himself into a conspiracy theory surrounding the 2016 murder of Seth Rich, a Democratic staffer.
The right-wing theory posits that Rich was the source of a huge cache of Democratic Party emails released by Wikileaks. Because of this, the theory assumes his murder was a political assassination by forces loyal to Hillary Clinton.
It has been repeatedly discredited and his family are pleading for people to stop using his death as a political football.
Dotcom has released a statement saying Rich contacted him anonymously to set up a US version of the Internet Party and that Rich was involved in the leaking of Democratic party emails to WikiLeaks. Dotcom is offering to testify to this in court if provided safe return passage from New Zealand to the United States.
“I know this because in late 2014 a person contacted me about helping me to start a branch of the Internet Party in the United States. He called himself Panda. I now know that Panda was Seth Rich,” Dotcom wrote on his website, below an ad for his electro album and embeds of his music videos.
“If my evidence is required to be given in the United States I would be prepared to do so if appropriate arrangements are made. I would need a guarantee from Special Counsel Mueller, on behalf of the United States, of safe passage from New Zealand to the United States and back. In the coming days we will be communicating with the appropriate authorities to make the necessary arrangements. In the meantime, I will make no further comment.”
Dotcom’s statement and discussion of his “evidence” on Twitter has resulted in Fox News host Sean Hannity inviting him onto the program as a guest.
It is not clear if Dotcom has accepted the request, but Rich’s brother Aaron has written to Fox News asking that they cancel the invite, referring specifically to New Zealand’s Serious Fraud Office finding that an email Dotcom said was “proof” of a conspiracy against him was in fact fake.
“Tonight you are scheduled to put someone on air who claims to have evidence about Seth yet has in the past been caught using fabricated email evidence to forward his own agenda and confuse people,” Aaron writes in the letter.
“We urge you to please, not provide a platform for a person who is known to have pushed false evidence in the past and not allow him to make a mistake like that here.”
Speaking to Stuff on Wednesday, Dotcom disputed this allegation and said Rich was working with a DNC crisis consultant.
“The problem is that Aaron Rich is relying his statement on DNC crisis management staff. They have put that letter together for him. The goal was to say that the evidence I have provided can’t be trusted,” Dotcom said.
“None of what Aaron has written has any credibility.
“It’s absolutely wrong that the Serious Fraud Office has made any finding about me at all.”
Dotcom says he never trusted the email much in the first place, as it lacked headers, and that he did not “push” it.
He said his lawyers were talking with Rich’s lawyers about the evidence he had and a conference call was being arranged.
DOTCOM SAYS POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SENSITIVITY
Dotcom said he felt sorry for Rich’s family, who have repeatedly asked people to stop speculating about Seth’s death, but that the political implications if Seth was the DNC leaker were too important to ignore.
“My heart goes out to them. I totally understand the hurt that they are feeling. I’m extremely sorry for their loss and I can understand why they are frustrated. But let’s just assume for a moment here that Seth Rich has been involved in the leak. That is a much bigger matter for the United States as a whole than the hurt of that one family – which is of course significant – but the nation might lose its president through a fraudulent impeachment process, claiming that Russian hacking and Russian collusion led to Donald Trump’s victory,” he said.
“I think anyone can understand that that is more serious and needs to be dealt with.”
Dotcom stopped short of directly asserting that Rich’s murder was suspicious, but detailed several problems he had with the investigations that had already been carried out into the death.
“I’ve never once said that there’s anything suspicious about the murder. It is suspicious when you read the media reports. For example, the Police are suggesting that there is a robbery and he was shot in the back two times, but the robbers failed to take his cellphone, his wallet, or take anything else from him.”
DNC knows this is 1000% true. An important piece of information. Follow this closely! https://twitter.com/kimdotcom/status/866812827511603200 …Hannity went to air without a Dotcom interview on Wednesday afternoon (NZT), but read the statement live on his radio show.
WHAT IS THE CONSPIRACY?
Rich’s murder is unsolved but DC police suspect it was the result of a botched robbery.
For months, right wing media outlets have speculated that Rich was the source of leaked Democratic emails to Wikileaks, and was murdered by forces loyal to Hillary Clinton in retaliation.
This theory has been discredited by police who searched his laptop and email after the murder, the fact that Rich wouldn’t have access to the leaked emails in the first place, and the well-established timeline of how the hack actually happened – Clinton campaign chair John Podesta was phished in March 2016.
Rich’s family have repeatedly asked media outlets to stop peddling the conspiracy theory – particularly Fox News, where host Sean Hannity has taken on the story as a crusade.
“Seth’s death has been turned into a political football. Every day we wake up to new headlines, new lies, new factual errors, new people approaching us to take advantage of us and Seth’s legacy. It just won’t stop. The amount of pain and anguish this has caused us is unbearable. With every conspiratorial flare-up, we are forced to relive Seth’s murder and a small piece of us dies as more of Seth’s memory is torn away from us,” his parents wrote in The Washington Post on Wednesday (NZT).
Fox News have retracted their original story on the issue but Sean Hannity continues to push it.
If Seth Rich was found to be the source of the leaks, it would mean the Russians were not behind the hack.
Hannity proposes that this revelation would send the “Russian collusion” narrative that is plaguing the Trump administration into ruins.
