Grand Island Paving Fiasco makes the News on Spectrum and WKBW!

Yesterday I spoke with James Sedita.   He also interviewed for the political endorsement for Highway Superintendent from the Democrats.  Jim Sedita works for the Town of Tonawanda Highway Department and has 23 year experience behind him. He said that the Town of Tonawanda does NOT Micropave because it is not aesthetically pleasing. He further elaborated that it is a dirty process and it should not be used in residential neighborhoods especially ones that have curbs. You can see how the process stained the curbed black. He also said that this process is meant more for County Roads and Backroads.  The fact this process was used in Grand Island in our residential neighborhoods shows the lack of experience of that Dick Crawford has.

Now, we have Fareway, Blue Jay, Sand Piper, Brandywine, Continental and International that have been Micropaved.  We all know J T Tomkins the Highway Superintendent is never at the Highway Department and it is being run by Dick Crawford the Deputy Highway Superintendent, a Politician.  We need our Highway Department being run by people with experience in Construction and Paving.
