Interesting New Developments, STAY TUNED!

We are getting information about Mary Cooke’s seat on the Niagara River Greenway Commission. We are hearing she has no place sitting on this board now that she is no longer the Supervisor of the Town of Grand Island. We are hearing she is refusing to give up her seat. This is also the Commission that oversees the Scenic Woods Grant (CLICK HERE). This is the same $300,000 Grant the Town of Grand Island is at risk of losing? And Mary Cooke sits on the Board. REALLY? ARE YOU SERIOUS!

Read Deputy Supervisor James Sharpe’s comments on this to Time Warner News. CLICK HERE

So let’s understand this. Mary sits on a board that has the $300,000 grant and the Town of Grand Island is past deadlines for reporting. How many meetings was Mary Cooke in that the board told her Grand Island needed to make filings? We need the Minutes to uncover this. I just went to their website and see that site is missing those minutes. Hey Mary, did you delete those Documents too?

WELL MARY, WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ANYONE IN THE TOWN ABOUT THE DELINQUENT REPORTING? OR DID YOU? WE KNOW YOU DIDN’T TELL NATHAN MCMURRAY, JAMES SHARPE OR BEVERLY KINNEY! DID YOU TELL MIKE MADIGAN, CHRIS ARONICA OR RAY BILLICA? THAT WOULD REALLY MAKE THIS INTERESTING!!! REMEMBER YOU DELETED ALL YOUR EMAILS IN TOWN HALL SO NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON. OR WERE YOU JUST GOING TO WAIT AND WATCH THE TOWN LOSE THE GRANT AND BLAME THE NEW SUPERVISOR NATHAN MCMURRAY?

We are working on an expanded story and will be posting that soon.

I am really tired of politics as usual at Town Hall. Between the rapid nepotism, seriously how many of Pattie Frentzel’s relatives are we paying? And the total lack of concern for obvious corruption, and criminal behavior. I had very high hopes with this new batch of board members. But it looks like Madigan, who played the outsider card to get elected, is just a yes man for the powers to be. Aronica doesn’t seem to care one way or another what happens. He was a brow beaten little boy under Cooke’s reign. And let’s be honest Ray Billica doesn’t have the mental capacity to know what’s happening. Unless of course, it’s to get his buddy a lucrative building opportunity. How big was that check Ray?? Kinney and McMurry don’t want to rock the boat, and appear to be complacent with the corruption, and criminal behavior.

Well I think it’s time we “Rock the Boat” it’s time we demand action from Town Hall! We need our own Preet Bharara. Or maybe it’s time “We the People” file a lawsuit against the town forcing action. I for one, am sick of this, and want action!!!

I would also like to know how do they know they recovered all the files? How can McMurray’s comments be left to stand? The IT team said they got them all back so we know that for sure? And what about sometime in the next three years we can’t find something. What are the consequences then? Why is this a violation of state and federal law if it’s just as simple as saying “We recovered all the files” What other grant info is missing? What other deadlines have we missed? Why did the rest of the town board do NOTHING as timelines expired? Who is in charge at Town Hall? Talk about a circus side show. We now have Gary Roesch and his concerned business’s group. Where was Gary Roesch when deadlines were being missed? In Florida working on his tan with JT Tomkins?? The total lack of respect for concerned citizens is disgusting. The trapping issue has had more attention then the criminal behavior of a former supervisor. When are the concerns of Grand Island taxpayers going to become a concern for this group of people?

Let’s hope that evil woman does some jail time and the rest of that crooked Republican bunch (Crawford, Billica, Aronica, Frentzel and the newest addition, Pete Marston) scurry under a rock and let honest Grand Islanders lead us.
