The Buffalo News reported this morning that the Town of Grand Island has requested that the District Attorney investigate the deletion of Documents in Town Hall. CLICK HERE TO READ!

The Pirate has heard Investigators spent 3 hours in Town Hall yesterday.

Several other Grand Island residents have also requested that the District Attorney also investigate Mary Cooke for other acts they allege she has committed. These alleged acts include the use of selective Code Enforcement violations brought against small business owners and Election Law violations.

This is the tip of the iceberg.

Now that the Erie County District Attorney is investigating, The Pirate is hearing that others have reached out to the Erie County District Attorney to investigate Doug Learman as well.

Finally, we will have all of the abuse of the Code Enforcement investigated. Doug Learman, you are going under the microscope. How many people are on your HIT LIST? Have you forgotten all the people who you told you have a HIT LIST? They haven’t, they already told the District Attorney about it and all of your activities. All those people are now going to give testimony to rid YOU from our Town, once and for all. You hurt a lot of people. And your time is now here. Let’s see who will have your back now. Those people that have been protecting you are all running for cover like cockroaches when the lights are turned on. Didn’t you hear? They never showed up for their Committeemen Meeting last night. They are all in hiding. You’re all alone now. Every time you inappropriately applied the Grand Island Code is going to be investigated. All those people you hurt are coming together to give testimony against you.

The Pirate has a quote. “WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND”!

Here is one small piece that the Pirate had heard about.

Through information and belief the prior Town of Grand Island Supervisor Mary S. Cooke utilized Town of Grand Island taxpayer resources (Town employees, vehicles and equipment) to selectively and incorrectly enforce Town of Grand Island Code in order to gain an unfair advantage in her re-election bid. And further abused her position as an elected official to commit political espionage and remove and/or steal challenging candidates’ political signs from both residential and commercial properties in the Town of Grand Island using the Towns Code Enforcement Department.

And the list goes on and on.

If you are a Grand Island Business Owner or Resident and think you have been improperly and illegally singled out and cited by the Town of Grand Islands Code Enforcement Department. Let us know. Erie Counties new District Attorney Michael J Flaherty Jr. has served as the chief prosecutor under District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III for 7 years. During that time, he convicted corrupt government employees, including elected officials who betrayed the public trust by misusing taxpayer dollars.

In 2009 Michael J Flaherty Jr. served as a Special District Attorney for Cattaraugus County on an Elections Law Fraud investigation that resulted in the conviction of a local party chairman.

Since being named Acting District Attorney in January of 2016, Michael J Flaherty Jr. has recommended common sense reforms to the Erie County Code of Ethics to add transparency to government and help restore the public’s confidence in our elected officials.
